BLOC15
BLOC15 is Oakland’s premier event venue, located at 252 2nd Street in the vibrant Jack London District, offering just over 10,000 square feet of sophisticated, dual-level event space for groups of up to 1,000 guests standing. The main level provides a spacious open floor plan well-suited for receptions, banquets, and large corporate gatherings, while the mezzanine level offers an elevated vantage point ideal for VIP seating or breakout experiences. The venue is purpose-built as a blank canvas, equipped with programmable full-spectrum LED lighting, a Bose in-house audio system, two Christie projectors, high-bandwidth WiFi, and a large commercial-grade catering kitchen. Two production rooms, beautifully appointed restrooms, and ADA-accessible ramps round out the infrastructure. BLOC15 accommodates the full range of events, from corporate conferences and nonprofit fundraising galas to weddings, private celebrations, and community gatherings. Free public street parking and a multi-level parking structure directly across the street make it one of the most accessible venues in the East Bay. 49 Square Catering is proud to bring chef-driven, locally sourced menus and full-service catering to events at BLOC15, complementing the venue’s commitment to exceptional hospitality in the heart of Oakland.
