USS Hornet
The USS Hornet Sea, Air and Space Museum is one of the Bay Area’s most extraordinary event venues, berthed at Pier 3 in Alameda just minutes from San Francisco by ferry or coach. This National Historic Landmark served the nation through World War II, the Vietnam War, and the recovery of the Apollo 11 and 12 astronauts, and today it opens its decks to private events for groups of 3 to 3,000 guests. Multiple event spaces span the flight deck, hangar deck, and interior rooms, all steeped in history and enhanced by ship tours, flight simulator rides, and interactive exhibits.
